36. Guo X, female, aged 35, from Deting Township in Songxian County, a junior leader of the Spiritual Church. Between 1997 and 1998, the brothers and sisters testified about the end-time work of Almighty God to Guo many times, but each time she blasphemed God and condemned God’s work wantonly. Despite her pregnancy, Guo ran here and there hindering others from turning to God. Her mother wanted to accept Almighty God but did not dare to after being disturbed by her. On January 20, 1999, after her delivery, Guo started vomiting and having diarrhea, and on the way to the hospital, she breathed her last. She deserved to die such an awful death!

37. Jiang X, male, aged 54, from Checun Town in Songxian County, a senior leader of the Justification by Faith Church. One day in September 1999, when Jiang learned that two gospel preachers were preaching the end-time work of Almighty God to his neighbor, he immediately went to his neighbor’s house to stop them. He pointed his finger at them and hurled a torrent of abuse: “I am sure you are believing in the devil, an evil spirit, a heresy, and an antichrist. You are the roaring lions prowling around…. Stop snaring my people….” What a malicious and arrogant man! On December 3, 1999, while Jiang was dismantling his house, a wall suddenly fell, and he was crushed to death outright. Within three months after he did evil, he perished. Truly, whoever resists God will die!

38. Wang X, female, aged 34, from Minquan County in Shangqiu City, a preacher of the Justification by Faith Church. In February 1999, when God’s end-time salvation came to Wang, she not only refused to accept it, but afterward she spread these words in her church: “Any belief apart from the Bible is from a false christ who deceives people. If they come to preach that to me again, I will report them to the Religious Affairs Bureau….” Besides, she went to the meeting places everywhere and closed them to outsiders, hindering others from accepting the true way. One night in November 1999, after she got home from a meeting, her husband strangled her with a V-belt and sawed her body into four pieces. She died without a full corpse. This devil was cursed for having resisted God!

39. Zhou X, female, aged 60, from Zhoukou City, whose family was a host family of the Praise Church. Since November 1995, the brothers and sisters preached the end-time work of Almighty God to Zhu many times, but each time she had her husband drive them away. In October 1998, her daughter preached the gospel to her, but she still refused to accept it and even drove her daughter out of her house. On January 19, 2000, when Zhou met her daughter and son-in-law (he was also a believer in Almighty God) at the funeral of her mother-in-law, she spoke many blasphemes and slanderous words: “You have surely strayed into an evil way. You are believing in a female Jesus, a human, an evil spirit….” The next day, Zhou went somewhere by van. On the way, the van bumped into a tree, and more than ten other passengers in it were only slightly injured, but Zhou fainted away outright. While being sent to the hospital, she kicked the bucket.

40. Xia X, male, aged 44, from Xiangcheng City, a deacon of the Way of Resurrection Church. In February 1999, when someone preached the end-time gospel of Almighty God to Xia, he not only rejected it, but he slandered and blasphemed Almighty God, and he also frightened the brothers and sisters who had accepted it, saying, “You are believing in a cult….” One day in early December, Xia went to the house of a brother who believed in Almighty God and hurled insults at him, and he also threatened him, “Where is God? I don’t believe that there is a God. I will send all of you to the police station and let you all die without knowing why.” The very next morning, Xia was suddenly attacked by an acute disease, which was diagnosed as pleurisy. On the night of January 1, 2000, his condition suddenly worsened, and he died while the people of his church were praying for him. He had never expected that he would be punished for resisting Almighty God.
