215. Yu X, male, 45 years old, from Gangtou Town in Fuqing City, a junior leader from the Old Local Church. In May 1997, when he learned that a sister of his denomination had accepted God’s end-time work, he took four people to her home to disturb her, and he said, “Jesus’ being crucified once has completed the redemptive work. God will never become flesh the second time, much less as a female. This is false prophet, false christ, and evil spirit deceiving people.” A brother present who believed in Almighty God persuaded him, “You shouldn’t blindly blaspheme and condemn God’s work since you know nothing about it. The sins of blaspheming the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.” Yu said, “You can’t frighten me! I’m not afraid. I will wait and see what your god will do to me?” In June 1998, Yu got bowel cancer and then his condition got worse and worse, and he could hardly sleep. Afterwards, he had an operation and had his anus removed, so he had to relieve himself through a plastic tube. Moreover, because of being bedridden for a long time, he had bedsores on his back; the smell in his room was so awful that no one could draw near. Yu suffered greatly from the illness and gave up his breath on February 16, 1999 (on the lunar New Year’s Day). He blasphemed God and eventually brought disaster upon himself!
