God’s end-time work of judgment and chastisement began with conquering the “toilers.” God first tried the toilers with his words of judgment and exposing, causing all his chosen people to completely enter into and undergo the trial of toilerhood. Only after that did God formally begin his end-time work of judgment and chastisement. So, the life experience of God’s chosen people began from the stage of toiling. Only after having undergone the trial of toilerhood were they qualified to become kingdom people and did they begin to enter the second stage of life experience—the stage of performing duty. What is the significance of undergoing the trial of toilerhood? All those who have undergone the trial of toilerhood know that it has deep significance and that without undergoing the trial of toilerhood, people cannot enter the right track of believing in God. As mankind has been corrupted too deeply, they have their own intents and purposes in doing everything, and this is so with their believing in God. They all believe in God for receiving blessing and for escaping disasters and death. None of them believes in God for pursuing the truth and thus being saved. If people believe in God according to their notions, they will never be able to enter the right track of believing in God or be saved but will all be eliminated. After people underwent the trial of toilerhood, their heart of receiving blessing was pierced by God’s word which is like a sharp sword, and they felt extremely painful and underwent great refining. Thus, their extravagant desire in believing in God vanished, their intent of receiving blessing was frustrated, and they were willing to toil for God. They gave up all that they were pursuing before, such as, “entering into the kingdom, receiving eternal life, and reigning and ruling,” and their eagerness to receive blessing through believing in God lessened. They all could not but bow to their fate, thinking, “This is our fate as we are the offspring of the great red dragon!” The trial of toilerhood indeed rid people of their desire of receiving blessing that they had while believing in God, and it caused them to see clearly their position and substance as the offspring of the great red dragon and their pitiable condition of being corrupted by satan. Not until then did they realize that they did not deserve to receive blessing or enjoy God’s grace. After God’s chosen people had been conquered completely and shamed and defeated and had undergone all kinds of sufferings and refining, God spoke again and addressed them as “kingdom people” instead of “toilers.” At that time, people all shed tears with excitement and felt remorseful beyond expression. Looking at their status as “kingdom people,” they felt ashamed. From then on, their attitude toward believing in God greatly changed, and they began to enter the right track of believing in God and formally receive God’s work of judgment and chastisement. That beginning as a transition is so meaningful. It can never be forgotten! When people were undergoing the trial of toilerhood, they all looked up at the sky with tears in their eyes, and they could not express their distress and felt extremely painful. However, it is extremely sweet to recall that experience today. That trial greatly changed people and was greatly beneficial to them. It is really fortunate to undergo the trial of toilerhood. We are really blessed! God’s end-time work of conquering and saving people is so meaningful, and each step of it can try people, refine people, reveal people, and transform people. It is completely God’s work of saving people and perfecting people.
Through experiencing God’s end-time work of judging and chastising people, one can absolutely be saved and made perfect. If we divide people’s life experience by stages, it is reasonable to divide it into four main stages. These four stages of life experience of being saved and made perfect are as follows: The first stage is “the stage of toiling,” the second is “the stage of performing duty,” the third is “the stage of serving God,” and the fourth is “the stage of testifying about God.” Normally, the first and the second stages will each take one about three years to experience, the third stage—the stage of serving God—will take one about five years to experience, and the fourth stage—the stage of testifying about God—will take one about seven years to experience. Of course, this will only be true with those who pursue the truth hard. If God does special work to try and refine one through special backgrounds and circumstances, it will be a different matter, and it will be different from the normal regular process of experiencing. God’s work is unfathomable to man. The life experience means the process for one to gain the transformation of his life nature in his experiencing God’s work. Only those who pursue the truth diligently will achieve such a result. This is like the wheat and the weeds that are growing in the same field. When the wheat bears fruit, the weeds will still be the weeds and will be eliminated. Those who believe in God but do not love the truth will be like the weeds. They will never possibly have life experience but will always remain in the stage of toiling. Most of them will be eliminated in the end, and ultimately only the “faithful toilers” will be left because they can toil to the end. But those who love the truth and pursue the truth will have long since entered the second or the third stage of life experience. Among those who have entered into life experience, only the honest people who have a sense of justice and those who spare no effort to pursue the truth and who love God genuinely, can eventually enter the fourth stage—the stage of testifying about God. That will be the highest state of life experience and the stage of being made perfect by God. Only those who have entered and gone through the stage of testifying about God, will be the ones who have been completely made perfect and who are fit for God’s use and will be worthy witnesses of Christ. Of course, they can be called the ones who know God, who genuinely love God, who have been gained by God, who are truly obedient to God, who are faithful to God, who are good soldiers of Christ, and who are in harmony with Christ. They certainly can be called God’s close friends and the ones who are of one heart and one mind with God. Of those who will have been made perfect, some will be like Peter, but most will be the honest people with average qualities who genuinely love God. Those who pursue the truth for being saved have to make some efforts and pursue at some price before they can enter any of the stages of life experience. Without paying some price, they will not be able to make it. This completely conforms to the principle of fair competition, and it proves that God is righteous toward everyone and God shows no favoritism to anyone.
