In the Age of the Grace, the gospel of repentance was preached, and people could be saved as long as they believed it. Now we do not talk about being saved but only talk about being conquered and perfected. No one still speaks such things: If a person believes in God, his whole household will be blessed, or once a person is saved, he will be saved forever. No one speaks these things now. They have become obsolete things. The work Jesus did at that time was to redeem all mankind. Whoever believed in him would be forgiven of his sin. As long as you believed in him, he would redeem you. As long as you believed in him, you would not be of sin and would be delivered from sin. This means that you were saved and were justified by faith. But those believers still had disobedience and resistance, which they had to get rid of gradually. Being saved does not mean that one was completely gained by Jesus, but means that he was not of sin and was forgiven of his sin and that you would never be of sin as long as you believed in him. At that time, Jesus did many works but his disciples did not understand them, and he spoke many words but people did not understand them, because he did not explain them. So some years after he left, Matthew wrote a genealogy for him, and other people did many works according to their own will. At that time Jesus did not come to perfect or gain people but to do a stage of the work, bring the good news of the kingdom of heaven, and accomplish the work of crucifixion, so his work ended after his crucifixion. But in doing the conquering work of this stage, God has to speak more words, do more works, and go through many processes, and he has to disclose all the mysteries of the works done by Jesus and Jehovah so that all people can believe in a clear way, because this is the end-time work and the end time is the time to do the concluding work and the time to end the work. This stage of the work is to cause you to understand and be clear about Jehovah’s law and Jesus’ redemption. It is mainly to cause you to understand the entire work of the six-thousand-year management plan, cause you to understand the full significance and the substance of the six-thousand-year management plan, cause you to understand the purpose of the many works done by Jesus and of the many words spoken by him, and cause you to realize your blind worship of the Bible. It will cause you to see all these clearly. You will be caused to understand what Jesus did at that time and what God does today. And you will be caused to understand and see all the truth, the life, and the way. Why did Jesus leave without concluding the work at that stage? Because the work of that stage he did was not the concluding work. When he was crucified, he had finished his words. After he was crucified, all his work ended. It is not the same as this stage in which God has to finish all the words and conclude all the work before he can end his work. At that stage of the work, Jesus left many of his words unspoken and did not make many of his words clear. But he did not care whether he had made his words clear, because he had not come to fulfill the ministry of the word. He left after his crucifixion. That stage was mainly for crucifixion and was different from this stage. This stage of the work is mainly to conclude the work, clear the threshing floor, and end all the work. If God has not finished all the words, he cannot end his work, because this stage is to end and fulfill all the work with word. At that time, Jesus did many works but people did not understand them. Then he left quietly. Even today many people still do not understand his words. Even when they have misinterpreted them, they still think that they are quite right and still do not know that they are wrong. At this final stage, when God has thoroughly ended the work and concluded the entire work, causing all people to understand and know his management plan, correcting the notions and intents they have within, their erroneous understandings, their notions about Jehovah’s work and Jesus’ work, their views about the unbelievers, and all of their deviations and errors, and causing them to understand all the right paths of human life, all the work God has done, and all the truths, this stage of the work will end. The work Jehovah did was to create the world, which was the beginning. This stage of the work is to conclude the work, which is the end. In the beginning, God did the work among the chosen people of Israel to initiate his work in the purest place. At the last stage, he does the work in the filthiest country to judge the world and end the age. At the first stage, he did the work in the brightest place. At the last stage, he does the work in the darkest place, dispelling the darkness and bringing in the light and conquering all these people. When people in the filthiest and darkest place have been conquered and they all acknowledge with their mouths that God does exist and that he is the true God and they are sincerely convinced, God will do the work of conquering the entire universe by such a fact. This stage of the work is representative. When the work of this age has been accomplished, the six-thousand-year management work will have ended completely. When people in the darkest place have been conquered, people in other places will be conquered. So only the conquering work in China is representative. China represents all the forces of darkness. The Chinese represent all men who are of flesh, of satan, and of blood. The Chinese have been corrupted most gravely by the great red dragon, resist God most seriously, and have lowest and filthiest humanity. So they are typical of the whole corrupt mankind. This does not mean that people in other countries are all good. All people have notions. Although they are with good qualities, they will also resist God if they do not know God. Why did the Jews resist and disobey God? Why did the Pharisees resist God? Why did Judas betray Jesus? At that time many disciples did not know Jesus. Why did people still not believe in Jesus after he was crucified and resurrected? Aren’t all people disobedient? But the Chinese are taken as an example, and they will become models and specimens and will be used as references after they have been conquered. Why do I always say that you are an appendage to my management plan? Such things as man’s corruption, filthiness, unrighteousness, resistance, and disobedience are most completely manifested in the Chinese and are all revealed in them. On the one hand, they are with poor qualities. On the other hand, they live a backward life, have backward thoughts, have bad and most backward life habits, live in a poor and most backward social environment, and were born into poor and most backward families, and they have low positions. The work done in this place is representative. If the experimental work has been done completely, it will be much easier to spread the work in the future. If this step of the work has been accomplished, the future work will be nothing difficult. When this step of the work has been accomplished and has completely succeeded, the work of conquering the entire universe will have ended completely. In fact, when the work among you has succeeded, it means that the work of the entire universe has succeeded. This is the very significance of making you models and specimens. In these people, all such things as disobedience, resistance, filthiness, and unrighteousness can be found. They have all the disobedience of mankind. These people are really something. That is why they are taken as examples to conquer. Of course, they will be specimens and models after they have been conquered. The first stage of the work done in Israel was most representative. The Israelites were the purest and least corrupt people among mankind. It was of the greatest significance for God to initiate his work there. It can be said that the ancestors of mankind were born in the land of Israel, and Israel was the birthplace of God’s work. At the beginning, these people were the purest and they all worshipped Jehovah, so the work done on them could achieve the best results. The entire Bible records the works of the two ages, the work of the Age of the Law and the work of the Age of the Grace. The Old Testament records the words Jehovah spoke to the Israelites and the works he did in Israel at that time. The New Testament records the works Jesus did in Judea. Why are there no Chinese names in it? Because the first two stages of the work were done in Israel and the Israelites were the chosen people, the people who first accepted the work of Jehovah. They were the least corrupt people among mankind. In the beginning, they had the heart to look up to God and to fear God. They listened to Jehovah’s words and had been serving him in the temple in priestly robe and with priestly crown. They were the people who first worshipped God and were the ones on whom God first did his work. They were specimens and models for the whole mankind, and they were specimens and models of the holy and righteous people. Such men as Job, Abraham, Lot, Peter, Timothy were all Israelites and were all specimens and models who are most holy. Israel is the nation who first worshipped God among mankind, and it has the greatest number of righteous people. God did the work on them for the purpose that he could better manage mankind on the whole earth in the future. Their “stories” and the righteous deeds they did in worshipping Jehovah were recorded and taken as specimens and models for the people outside Israel in the Age of the Grace, and thus the work has proceeded for thousands of years until today through what they did.
