Most people’s belief in God is essentially a religious belief, and they have no love for God. People only know to follow God like a robot, and yet they do not have a true thirst for God or have adoration for God but only follow God in silence. There are many people who believe in God, but few love God. People only fear God because they are afraid that the disasters may befall them or “admire” God because he is lofty. They do not have any love or true thirst for God in their fear or admiration. People all seek details of the truth or some unimportant mysteries in their experience. More people just follow and just fish in troubled waters for receiving blessings. They do not believe in God for seeking the truth or for receiving God’s blessing and sincerely obeying God. All people’s life of belief in God is meaningless and worthless, and they all believe in God for their personal plan and pursuit, believing in God for receiving blessings but not for loving God. Many people act willfully, doing whatever they want to do and never considering God’s interests or considering whether it is according to God’s intention. Such people do not even believe in God genuinely, let alone love God. God is essentially not only for man to believe in, but much more for man to love. Yet many believers in God fail to discover this “secret.” People “do not dare” to love God or know how to love God. They have never discovered that God has so much loveliness or discovered that God is a God who loves man and that God is a God for man to love. God’s loveliness is manifested in his work. People can only discover his loveliness in their experience and can only taste his loveliness in the reality. Without experience and observation in practical life, no one can discover God’s loveliness. God has much loveliness, but if people do not come into contact with him practically, they cannot discover it. That is to say, if God were not incarnated, people could not come into contact with him practically. If they could not come into contact with him practically, they could not experience his work. Then they will have too much hypocrisy and imagination in their love for God. People’s love of the God in heaven cannot be as practical as their love of the God on earth, because their knowledge of the God in heaven is based on their imagination, not on what they personally see or on what they personally experience. When God comes to earth, people can see his practical deeds and his loveliness and can see his entire practical and normal nature, which are thousands of times more practical than their knowledge of the God in heaven. No matter how great is people’s love for the God in heaven, it is not practical at all and is full of things from their mind. No matter how little is people’s love for the God on earth, it is practical. Even if they only have a little love for him, it is practical. God causes people to know him by his practical work. Through their such knowledge, he gains their love. Take Peter as an example. If he had not lived with Jesus, he would not possibly have adoration for Jesus. His faithfulness to Jesus was built on his contact with Jesus. Since God requires people to love him, he comes to the world personally and lives with them, so that they can see and experience his reality.

God perfects people by the reality and by doing actual things on them, and he perfects them by his word, which is to guide them and open up the way for them. That is to say, he will cause you in his words to find ways to practice and find the words concerning the vision, and through your understanding these things, he will cause you in your practical practice to have ways and the vision, to receive inspiration, to know that the matter is from him, and to discern many things through his words. After you understand that, you should immediately enter into that reality and satisfy God in your practical life through his words. God will guide you in everything so that you will have ways to practice, feel that God is very lovely, and see that the works God does on you step by step are to perfect you. If you want to see God’s love and truly taste God’s love, you have to go deep into reality and into the real life and find that everything God does is love, is salvation, and is to cause people to get rid of their unclean things and to refine the things within them that cannot satisfy God’s heart’s desire. God supplies people by his word, while at the same time he arranges circumstances in their practical life for them to experience in. If they eat and drink God’s word more, in their practical practice they can solve all the difficulties in their life through many of God’s words. That is to say, you can go deep into reality only if you have God’s word. If you do not eat and drink God’s word and do not have God’s working, you will have no way in your practical life. If you never eat and drink God’s word, you will be at a loss when encountering things. You only know to love God but do not have any discernment or have any way to practice, and you are in a muddle and sometimes you even think you are satisfying God when you are satisfying your flesh. All these are the consequences of not eating and drinking God’s word. That is to say, without being guided by God’s word but only groping in the reality, you simply cannot find any way to practice. Such people simply do not know what it means to believe in God, much less know what it means to love God. Through the inspiration and guidance of God’s word, if you often pray, grope, and seek, and find what you should practice, finding the opportunity of the Holy Spirit’s working, truly cooperating with God, and not being a foolish person, then you will have ways and can truly satisfy God in your practical life. After you satisfy God, you will have God’s guidance within, and God will especially bless you, giving you a kind of enjoyment. You will feel that it is a great honor that you have satisfied God this time, feel very brightened within, feel bright and secure in your heart, feel comforted and free from accusations in your conscience, and feel joyful within when you meet the brothers and sisters. This is enjoying God’s love. Only this is truly enjoying God. People enjoy God’s love through their experience. Through undergoing suffering and practicing the truth, they receive God’s blessing. If you only say that God has really loved you and has really paid much price for man, speaking so many words earnestly and patiently and saving man all the time, you have only enjoyed one aspect of God. However, you will have more practical enjoyment after you put the truth into practice in your practical life and feel secure and bright in your heart, feel especially moved within, feel that God is very lovely, and feel that the price you have paid is so worthwhile. After you have exerted painstaking effort and paid a price, you will feel very brightened within, feel that you have truly enjoyed God’s love, and understand that God has done the work of salvation on people, that God refines people to purify them, and that God tries people to test if they have a genuine love for him. If you always practice the truth in such a way, you will progressively know God’s many works clearly. At that time, you will always feel that God’s word is crystal clear to you. When you are clear about many truths, you will find that it is easy to practice in this thing and that thing, that you can overcome this thing and that temptation, and that nothing is difficult for you, so that you will feel especially free and released. At that time, you will have enjoyed God’s love. And it means that God’s love has truly come upon you. God blesses those who have the vision, have the truth, have the knowledge, and have a genuine love for him. If you want to see God’s love, you have to practice the truth in your practical life and have a mind to suffer and to endure the pain and give up whatever you treasure in order to satisfy God. Although you may shed tears, you will satisfy God’s heart. Then God will surely bless you. After you have undergone such suffering, you will have the working of the Holy Spirit. Through your practical life and through experiencing God’s word, you will see God’s loveliness. Only after you have tasted God’s love will you have a true love for God.
