Since you believe in God, you have to obey God. Since you believe in God, you have to practice the truth and perform all your duties. Not only so, you have to understand what you should experience. If you only experience dealing, discipline, and judgment and only enjoy God, but you cannot sense when God disciplines or deals with you, it is not enough. Maybe you hold your stand in this refining, yet this is not enough, and you have to continue to go forward. You will never learn enough lessons of loving God and can never finish learning them. People regard belief in God as very simple. When they practically experience it, they realize that it is not as simple as they have imagined. When God works on people and refines them, they will suffer. The greater love they have for God, the more of God’s mighty power will be manifested in them. The less refining people undergo, the less love they will have for God, the less of God’s mighty power will be manifested in them. The greater refining people undergo, the greater suffering they undergo, and the more torments they suffer, the deeper genuine love they will have for God, the more they will have genuine faith in God, and the deeper knowledge of God they will have. In your experience, you will see that those who have undergone greater refining and suffering and who have received more dealings and disciplines have a deeper love for God and have a deeper and more thorough knowledge of God. Those who have never been dealt with will only have a shallow knowledge of God. All they will say is, “God is so good. He gives man grace and lets man enjoy him.” If they have been dealt with and disciplined, they will be able to communicate a true knowledge of God. So, the more wonderful work God does on people, the more valuable and significant it will be. The more unfathomable it is to you and the more contrary it is to your notions, the more it can conquer you, gain you, and perfect you. God’s work is so significant! If he did not refine people in this way and did not do his work in this way, his work would yield no result and have no significance. This is why it is of extraordinary significance that God has selected this group of people in the end time. Before, God said that he would select and gain this group of people. The greater work he does on you, the more deeply and purely you will love him. The greater work he does on you, the more you will taste his wisdom and the more deeply you will know him. God will end his six-thousand-year management plan in the end time. Will he end it easily? Will he end his work after he has only conquered people? Could it be that simple? People have imagined it to be too simple, but what God does is not that simple. Each part of the work God does is unfathomable to man. If you could fathom it, God’s work would be insignificant and valueless. God’s work is unfathomable to man and is utterly contrary to your notions. The more contrary it is to your notions, the more significant it will show it is. It would be insignificant if it matched your notions. Now you feel that God’s work is too wonderful. The more wonderful it is, the more you will feel that God is unfathomable and will see that God’s deeds are too great. If he only did some superficial works to conquer people, they would not see the significance of his work. Although now you undergo some refining, it will be very beneficial to your growth in life. So it is very necessary for you to undergo such suffering. Now you undergo some refining, but you will truly see God’s deeds afterwards. In the end, you will say, “God’s deeds are truly wonderful!” That will be a word from your heart. After some people experienced refining for a period of time (toilerhood and the times of chastisement), they finally said, “It is really not easy to believe in God!” “Really not ‘easy’” shows that God’s deeds are unfathomable and God’s work is so significant, so valuable, and so worthy of being treasured by people! If you have not gained any knowledge after I have done so many works, will my works be of any value? I will just cause you to say such a word, “It is really not easy to serve God. God’s deeds are too wonderful. God is so wise and lovely!” If you can say these words after you experience for a period of time, it is proof that you have gained the work done on you. One day when you preach in a foreign country and they ask you, “How are you doing in your belief in God?”, you will be able to say, “God’s deeds are too wonderful!” When they hear this word, they will feel that you have something within, and they will also feel that God’s deeds are truly unfathomable. That will be a true testimony. You will say that God is really wise in doing his work, that the work he has done on you has caused you to be sincerely convinced and has conquered your heart, and that you will love him forever, for he is so worthy of man’s love! If you can say such words, you will move others’ hearts. All that will be your testimony. If you can give such a powerful testimony, causing everyone to be moved to tears, it will prove that you are a genuine lover of God, because you can give a testimony of loving God and God’s deeds can be made known through you. Through your making them known, everyone will seek God’s deeds, know how to experience God, and can stand firm under any circumstances. Such a testimony will be a true testimony. This is what God requires of you now. You should say that God’s deeds are so valuable and so worthy of being treasured by people and he is so precious and rich, that he can not only speak words, but much more refine people’s heart, give people enjoyment, gain people, conquer people, and perfect people, and that you have seen that God is so lovely from your experience. Then how deeply do you love God now? Can you truly say these words from your heart? When you can say them from the bottom of your heart, you will have a testimony. When you have experienced to such an extent, you will be able to testify for God and will be qualified to testify for God. If you fail to experience to such an extent, you still fall far short. When you are in refining, it is normal that you have weaknesses. But after the refining, you will say, “God is so wise in doing his work!” If you can truly gain a practical knowledge of this word, it will be precious and your experience will be valuable.
