What should you know about the practical God? The Spirit, the Person, and the Word together are the practical God Godself. This is what the practical God Godself really means. If you only know the Person, knowing her habits of life and her character, yet you do not know the work of the Spirit or what the Spirit does in the flesh, and you only pay attention to the Spirit and the Word, only pray to the Spirit, but do not know the work God’s Spirit does through the practical God, it is proof that you still do not know the practical God. Knowing the practical God means knowing her word, having experiences of her word, knowing the rules and the principles of the Holy Spirit’s working, knowing how God’s Spirit works in the flesh, and knowing that every act of the God in the flesh is directed by the Spirit and that the word she speaks is the direct expression of the Spirit. Therefore, to know the practical God, you should mainly know how God works in her humanity and in her divinity. Then you have to know the Spirit’s expression, which all people come into contact with.

What parts does the Spirit’s expression include? Sometimes she does the work in her humanity and sometimes in her divinity. But in both cases, she does it under the direction of the Spirit. The Person will only express outwardly what the Spirit within her is. The Spirit does the work normally. However, she does the work under the direction of the Spirit in two ways. Sometimes she does it in her humanity and sometimes in her divinity. You have to know this clearly. In different situations, the Spirit does the work in different ways. When the work needs to be done in her humanity, the Spirit directs her to do it in her humanity. When the work needs to be done in her divinity, she directly does it in her divinity. As God works and appears in the flesh, he works in his humanity, and he can also work in his divinity. When he does the work in his humanity, he does it under the direction of the Spirit, and it is to satisfy what people need in their flesh and is for the purpose that they can contact him and see that he is practical and normal and see that his Spirit has come into the flesh and come to the world and is living with people and coming into contact with people. When he does the work in his divinity, he does it to supply people’s life, guide them from the positive side in everything, and transform their nature, so that they will truly see that the Spirit appears in the flesh. People can only grow in life mainly through the word and work of God’s divinity. They can only gain transformation in their nature and be satisfied in their spirit by receiving the work of God’s divinity. And they also need to receive the work of God’s humanity; that is, God has to shepherd, sustain, and supply them in his humanity. Only in this way can they satisfy God’s heart’s desire. To observe the commandments properly, people should at least know the God who practically appears in the flesh and be clear about him; that is, they should at least know the principles for observing the commandments properly. They should not observe them randomly or mindlessly but according to some bases, for some purposes, and by some principles, and should be clear about the vision first. The practical God Godself working both in her humanity and in her divinity, which I am talking about today, is that through her appearing, God can not only work in her normal humanity and live a normal human life but also work completely in her divinity, working both in her humanity and in her divinity, and she works through her word in both cases, speaking words and uttering her voice when she works in her humanity and when she works in her divinity. When she works in her humanity, she speaks words of humanity, which are easy for people to contact and understand, simple and easy to understand, can supply all people, and can be understood by both educated and uneducated people. When she works in her divinity, she also speaks words, yet they are full of supply and life, and she speaks them not according to her thoughts or according to her likings in her humanity, free from the limitation of her humanity, and totally free from the restraint of her normal humanity. Although she also speaks them in her flesh, they are the direct expression of the Spirit. If people only receive the work God does in her humanity, they will only be experiencing in a limited scope and have to be dealt with, pruned, and disciplined for years before they can gain some transformation. However, when they do not have the working or the presence of the Holy Spirit, they will relapse into their old nature. The work God does in her divinity remedies this disadvantage and incompleteness so that people can be made complete. She does not need to deal with or prune them for a long time but just supplies them from the positive side, remedying all their defects with words, exposing all their states with words, directing their life, their every word and deed, every act and move, and thoroughly exposing their intents and purposes with words. This is the practical work done by the practical God. Therefore, people should not only be obedient to the humanity of the practical God and know her clearly and believe in her fully, but they should also receive and obey the work and the word of her divinity. “God” appearing in the “flesh” means that God’s Spirit does all his works and speaks all his words through his normal humanity and through his incarnated flesh, that is, that God’s Spirit directs his humanity to do the work and does the work of his divinity in his flesh. From the incarnated God, you can see the work God does in his humanity and the work he does completely in his divinity. This is the more practical significance of God appearing in the flesh. If you have seen this clearly, you will be able to consider God’s two parts as one, and you will not overvalue his work he does in his divinity or undervalue his work he does in his humanity and will not look at them in an extreme way or in an improper way. All in all, the practical God means that God expresses in his flesh the work of his humanity and the work of his divinity under the direction of the Spirit so that people can see that it is true and real and practical.
