In the end time, God has been incarnated in China to do the work. She has expressed more than one million words, which has conquered and saved a group of people and opened the new age in which the judgment begins with the family of God. Now God’s end-time work has reached its climax in Mainland China. Most of the people from various Catholic and Christian sects and denominations who pursue the truth have returned before the throne of God. The incarnated God has accomplished the work that the Son of Man would come in a hidden way to do, which had been prophesied in the Bible, and she will soon appear publicly to every country and every place in the world.

God’s extraordinary work has not only revealed all antichrists, false prophets, and deceivers, but also exposed those false believers who only seek grace and who only ask for bread to fill their stomachs. God’s words of judgment have pierced people’s hearts and souls like a sharp two-edged sword so that those who hate rebuke, who detest pure words, or who do not love the truth have all showed their true colors.

In the words that God has expressed since he came in a hidden way to do the work, we have seen the real situation of mankind’s resisting and rebelling against God, which manifests mainly in three aspects:

1. Mankind can often sin, resisting and rebelling against God, altogether because mankind, who were corrupted by satan, have been occupied by various satanic poisons so that their innate nature has become the innate nature of resisting and rebelling against God. As a result, they commit sins every day and cannot free themselves from the bondage and restraint of their satanic innate nature though they confess their sins frequently. Mankind’s innate nature of rebelling against God is the root of their sin.

2. Mankind have been corrupted so deeply that their minds are filled with satanic philosophies, rules of life, and ways of thinking; thus they are unable to understand or know that God’s word is the truth. Without the inspiration and enlightenment of the Holy Spirit, mankind would have no way to receive the truth. Even though corrupt mankind believe in God, they only acknowledge that there is God but do not acknowledge that God is the truth. Therefore corrupt mankind can often judge, attack, resist, and rebel against God.

3. Mankind have been corrupted by satan so deeply that even though they believe in God for years, without God’s judgment and chastisement or the saving work of God incarnate, they could never know God; they, while believing in God, could only enjoy God’s grace and acknowledge God’s real existence but could not truly know God; and they could only be filled with religious doctrines and notions, become more and more arrogant and self-right, and even dare to judge, criticize, and blaspheme God’s work. Such things happen very often and are nothing new in religious world, which set us thinking. This has completely fulfilled these words of Jesus: “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’” We have all seen that there are too many people who work in the name of the Lord but resist and condemn God’s end-time work. All who, while believing in God, only acknowledge that there is God but do not know that God is the truth are most likely to resist, attack, and blaspheme God. They, with some Bible knowledge and religious doctrines, regard themselves as having possessed the truth and known God and even dare to blaspheme the Holy Spirit’s work and challenge the incarnated Christ. What awaits them will only be God’s righteous, majestic, and wrathful judgment and chastisement, and all this will be revealed on the day God appears publicly.

From the brothers and sisters in various places who preach the gospel, we have heard that many people who resisted the work of Almighty God or who disturbed and hindered others from accepting Almighty God have been punished or cursed in varying degrees, which has promoted our gospel work to some extent. We cannot help praising God’s righteousness and thanking God for answering our prayer, reverence and admiration for God welling up in our hearts. “God will not abandon any sheep belonging to him, and even less will he let off any evildoer who resists him. God is omnipresent and omnipotent. No hostile power can hinder God’s work.” Since God has let us see so many cases of the evildoers’ being punished, we believe these are also silent warnings to everyone. Therefore, we have collected more than ten thousand cases of the people from various Catholic and Christian sects and denominations who were punished during the period 1993 to 2002 in twenty-four provinces and municipalities of China. From these cases of punishment for resisting Almighty God, we have only chosen more than eight hundred and seventy typical ones and compiled a book, which is sufficient to help everyone to learn a lesson from them. From these shocking cases of punishment for resisting God, we conclude that there are mainly four kinds of people resisting God more fiercely.

The first kind are those who had no discernment due to the lack of knowledge of the Holy Spirit’s work and thus were deceived by others or controlled by wicked servants. They followed them to do evil and echoed what they said so that they spoke many words against God and did many evil things to hinder others from accepting God’s work. As for this kind of people, God did not terminate their lives but only gave them some slight punishments. Some of them got strange diseases, some encountered misfortunes, and some brought disasters upon their family members. God gave this kind of people a chance to repent. However, among them there were some very obstinate ones who still did not wake up but continued doing evil after being punished. Of course, these people were cut off.

The second kind are those who were mostly the leaders in various sects and denominations. They faced a choice between their position and God. For the sake of their position, they gave up the true way and deliberately resisted God’s work, controlling the people in their hands. In order to forever enjoy the blessing of position, they deceived and entrapped the people. It seemed to them that to lose the people was to lose their position and to lose their position was to lose their lives. Therefore, they tried every possible means to vie with God for God’s chosen people, declaring that God’s sheep were their sheep. They were typical antichrists. What they served were their position and livelihood. They became more and more hardened in heart. Not only did they enjoy God’s grace, but they also wanted to control God’s chosen people, not even giving them their due right to make free choices. They were precisely the wicked servants in the Lord Jesus’ prophecy. As for this kind of people, God punished them in varying degrees according to their behavior and also gave them a chance to repent. However, some of them intensified their efforts to do evil and never repented, so God terminated their lives. As for those who restrained themselves or stopped doing evil after being punished, God has spared their lives and still waits for them to repent.

The third kind are those who had been possessed by evil spirits or had performed many miracles by evil spirits. These people only believed in the work of the evil spirits in them but had no knowledge of the work of the Holy Spirit at all. Therefore, when God’s new work was preached to them, they strongly opposed it. This kind of people were extremely hostile to the work of the Holy Spirit and most disgusted with the truth expressed by God. In all sects and denominations, these people resisted God most fiercely, acted most maliciously, and opposed God most actively and vehemently. This portion of people were the tools of evil spirits, the enemies of God, and the accomplices of satan, so all of them were cursed and doomed to be destroyed and perish.

The fourth kind are those who were key members trained by the Three-Self Church. They only served the Communist Party and worked themselves to the bone for it, and they were hostile to all those who truly believed in God. By the power of the state, they persecuted those who truly followed God and testified about God, serving as the tools of the Chinese government. They lived off the Communist Party, so they spoke and worked themselves to the bone for it, becoming the spokesmen of the Communist Party in the religious world. Actually, their master was none other than the Communist Party. This portion of people were the dominant ones in most of the state churches, who controlled many ignorant believers in their hands. They were downright devils who resisted God, not believers in God at all. Though they had been unrestrained for a time, they were doomed to be cursed and destroyed.

These renowned people from various Catholic and Christian sects and denominations were all punished by God or even cursed to death because they condemned God’s work and hindered God’s will from being carried out. Isn’t this worth thinking deeply about? If the one whom they resisted had not been God, who could have punished them or taken their lives away? If they really had belonged to God, who could have had the power to take their lives out of God’s hand? Don’t you acknowledge that God is righteous?

From the situations of these four kinds of people and their actions and behavior, it can be clearly seen that these people disliked the truth by nature. They were hostile to God’s work of transforming and saving man through judgment and chastisement. They were so extremely disgusted with God’s words which expose man’s innate nature and pierce man’s soul that they even flied into a rage with shame as if God’s arrival had interrupted their pleasant dream. Therefore, they uttered their complaints against God and exposed their innate nature of rebelling against God. They even went so far as to condemn, blaspheme, and resist God unscrupulously, acting more arrogantly and overbearingly than the Pharisees who persecuted the Lord Jesus two thousand years ago. Their evil deeds eventually incurred punishment and curse. Many of them did not realize that God’s nature really does not tolerate man’s offense until they were dying, yet they could do nothing but weep and gnash their teeth in the darkness. Woe to those who crucify Christ again!
